Created in 2020, the École du Louvre’s Endowment Fund aims to support the work and mission of the École du Louvre, helping it realise projects of an exceptional nature or which enhance its influence and appeal, and contribute to the social and cultural diversity of its students, and their future careers.
In becoming a patron of the École du Louvre’s Endowment Fund, Majid Boustany wished to provide long-term support for teaching of excellence, available to all, by a donation to the fund’s capital. The purpose of this donation is to perpetuate the actions of the school’s endowment fund: it aims to ensure equality of opportunity in the study of art history by granting scholarships for maintenance, travel and research, by furthering research and developing digital equipment for the benefit of artistic and cultural education.
Majid Boustany is also a member of the Endowment Fund’s Board, which is headed by the École du Louvre’s Director, Claire Barbillon.
