Sarah Piram
She is an art historian (PhD, Université Paris Nanterre) specialising in the Islamic world. Her dissertation on the history of Iranian heritage led to a position at the Musée du Louvre as research associate in the Department of Islamic Art, 2015–2018. She was then named Iran Heritage Foundation Curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, where she curated the exhibition Epic Iran (May–September 2021). In January 2024 she became head of the North African and Middle East Heritage Unit in the Heritage and Collections Department of the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac in Paris.
